Payment requests for layaways and saved payment details
Lightspeed Payments merchants can now send a deposit or full payment request for unfulfilled sales and layaways.
When a customer opens the secure payment portal, they have the option to save their card details for a smoother, more flexible recurring checkout experience.

Customize chargeback dispute notification recipients
Choose who receives automated chargeback dispute emails and configure the preferred communication language for each recipient. You can add email recipients by location so they only receive disputes regarding sales from that location, providing you with more transparency and control.

Customer facing display on Lightspeed Payments terminals
Build trust with customers at checkout with the new customer-facing display available on Lightspeed Payments terminals (WisePOS E or S700). The payment terminal displays items as they are added or removed from the sale, and shows discounts, promotions, and subtotals.

The new Wholesale page highlights the key features of the integrated Lightspeed Wholesale (NuORDER) ecosystem, like the Marketplace, PO Sync, and reordering workflows.
Once you’ve connected your NuORDER and Retail POS accounts, you can access the Marketplace or refer brands from the Wholesale page.

Promotion helper for Scanner app on iOS
Leverage the promotion helper for Scanner app (iOS) to help boost sales and ensure customers receive promotional rewards. When an item included in an active promotion is added to the cart, Scanner app will display a message letting your Sales Associate know a promotion is available to the customer.

Retail POS (X) version 6.12.0 has been released
- You can now skip adding a serial number when marking an item for fulfillment. You’ll be prompted to enter a valid serial number later when marking the sale as packed or completed.
- When creating or editing a customer, a new checkbox confirms if customers have opted in to receive text messages.
- When closing a register, Cashiers now have the option to enter the number of each cash denomination type and the system will automatically calculate the total amount.
- The iZettle payment flow can now successfully trigger for sales totaling exactly £1.00.
- The Cash Management button will no longer be enabled when the register is closed.
- More Action options will now correctly support an iPad's Accessibility dynamic text sizes.

- Use Terminal with caution: Never copy and paste commands or scripts from unofficial sources into your Windows or Mac Terminal, as you could be unknowingly granting a bad actor full control of your device.
