When you enable Loyalty, all your products will automatically earn loyalty based on the loyalty percentage you enter in your Loyalty settings. However, you might want to set custom loyalty amounts for products that use price book pricing. For example:

• Staff often receive discounted rates. In your staff price book, apply the discount, but also set the loyalty to zero, so your staff doesn't get double benefits.
• Offering wholesale rates is great for business but less so if you're giving them loyalty too. In your wholesale price book, set loyalty amounts to zero.
• If you have many stores, you can create different loyalty-earning rules specific to each of your stores.

To set custom loyalty amounts for products in price books:

1. From the main menu, go to Catalog > Price books.
2. Open the price book you want to customize.
3. In the Products section, find the product you want to customize.
4. Under the Loyalty earned column, select Change.
5. Enter a custom loyalty amount (e.g. 0 or a fixed amount).
6. Repeat steps 3-5 for all the other products you want to customize.
7. Select Save price book.

Your products will now earn a custom loyalty amount when they're sold. Their custom loyalty amounts won't be affected if you discount the product.
