Setting custom loyalty for specific products

  • Available on Pro, Advanced, Enterprise
  • Available on Core, Plus

When you enable Loyalty, all your products will automatically earn loyalty based on the loyalty percentage you enter in your Loyalty settings. However, you might want to set how much loyalty certain products earn, such as:

  • Shipping charges
  • Gift vouchers
  • Credit notes
  • Donations
  • Any other admin products
  • Products with higher or lower margins

For these types of products, you can set their custom loyalty amounts to 0 or a fixed amount. How you do so varies slightly if it's a standard product, composite product, or variant.

Setting custom loyalty for specific standard or composite products

  1. From the main menu, go to Catalog > Products.
  2. Use the available fields and filters to find the product you want to customize.
  3. In the Price & Loyalty section, select Earn custom loyalty and enter the amount of loyalty dollars you want the product to earn.

  4. Select Save.

Your product will now earn a custom loyalty amount when it's sold. This custom loyalty amount won't be affected if you discount the product.

Setting custom loyalty for specific variants

  1. From the main menu, go to Catalog > Products.
  2. Use the available fields and filters to find the product you want to customize.
  3. In the Variants section, open the variant you want to customize.
  4. Under the Price & loyalty tab, select Earn custom loyalty and enter the amount of loyalty dollars you want the product to earn.

  5. Select Save.

Your variant will now earn a custom loyalty amount when it's sold. This custom loyalty amount won't be affected if you discount the variant.
