Why can I no longer delete payments from sales and now only edit them?

Answer

It used to be the case that you could delete a payment line from the sales history. This functionality was removed as we found it caused issues in reporting.

The best way to edit payment lines would be either:

• To change the payment type or time and date of the payment, from the sales history, click the pencil icon next to the payment you would like to edit
• For any other changes to the payment, such as changing the payment amount, you'll need to void and re-create the sale
