How to sync sales that were made while in offline mode

Objective

How to sync offline sales in Retail POS

Setup

  • Retail POS for Mac or PC
  • Retail POS on iPad

Steps

For Mac or PC:

  1. Go to the Sell Screen
  2. Click Switch underneath the Outlet name.
  3. Click Sync Offline Sales

For iPad:

  1. Tap the three line menu in the upper left-hand corner
  2. Tap Online
  3. Tap Sales
  4. Tap Sync 

Additional Information

In some cases, you may need to put through a sale once the device is back online, which will force a sync of your sales. If you need to void the sale created to get Retail POS to sync, you can follow the steps in our Voiding Sales Using the Sales History guide.
