If you use Lightspeed Advanced Marketing integration, you can redeem your customers' rewards as part of a sale using the Lightspeed Advanced Marketing for Retail POS (X-Series) app Chrome extension.
Redeeming rewards
- Navigate to the Sell screen.
- Add products to the sale as needed.
- Attach a customer to the sale after all the products are added.
- A prompt will display the customer's points balance and show the available rewards the customer could redeem.
- From the list of their available rewards, select the reward your customer wishes to redeem and click Continue.
- The discount will apply to the sale and the points will be removed from the customer's account immediately. The reward will display as a line item under the products in the sale. You can click to expand to view more details.
- Click Pay to complete the sale.
Once you have redeemed a reward for a customer in the sale, you cannot undo it. If your customer changes their mind or you redeem a reward in error, discard the sale and start over.
