Answer

Gift card numbers can be as long as you want and can contain letters, numbers and dashes. They may not contain special characters or spaces. 

Additional Information

• We do recommend that numbers be 6-16 digits long and in a non-sequential order for security reasons.
• Gift card numbers longer than 12 digits may not be read by your scanner. 
• If printing your own gift cards, you can determine the gift card numbers using the above information. Then when selling, simply use the number on the new gift card.
