How to find the username to login to Retail POS (X-Series)

Objective

To find a user's username if they have forgotten their login details.

Setup

  • Retail POS for Mac or PC 

Steps

  1. Click Setup
  2. Click Users
  3. Search for the user in your list and click on them to view their profile
  4. Under Username, you will see what their username is in Retail POS:Image_2020-01-24_at_12.42.39_PM.png

Additional Information

The Primary Account Owner will be the only user that is required to use their email address to login to Retail POS. All other users will use their username.

If you'd like for all users to login with an email address, you can set the username to their email address.

Only admin users will be able to view the Users tab in Retail POS.

Usernames in Retail POS are not case sensitive, but spaces and other characters do count. If the user is typing in the correct username and still can't log in, the user will need to reset their password.
