Objective

How to find the gift card number for a receipt when you only have the receipt from the sale. 

Setup

• Retail POS for PC or Mac

Steps

1. Click Reporting
2. Click Gift Card Reports
3. Review the "total sold" column for amounts matching the value of the gift card sold
4. Click View Sale to see the full details of the sale. If the details match the receipt, this is the relevant gift card number

Additional Information

The Gift Card report lists all gift cards in the order they were sold starting from the most recent. If you have found a sale where the total matches but the sale information does not proceed with looking at other sales from the Gift Card Report that are either earlier or later on the list.
