How to add notes to a customer account in Retail POS (X-Series)

Objective

Add a note to a customer's account or profile. 

Setup

  • Retail POS for PC or Mac 

Steps

  1. Navigate to Customers > Customers in Retail POS and find the relevant customer
  2. Click on the customer's name and select Edit Customer
  3. Click on Details at the top of the pop-up and scroll down to the Additional Information section
  4. After entering information into the Note field, click Save Customer

Additional Information

Notes can be viewed at the time of sale when a customer has been added to the sale by clicking the customer name and selecting Notes on customer, or by viewing the customer in the Edit Customer page.
