Why is my register opening automatically without users opening it?

Setup

  • Retail POS for Mac or PC
  • Retail POS on iPad
  • Xero Integration
  • Ecommerce Integration

Answer

Xero Integration:

  • If you apply payments on customer invoice in Xero and this payment is then synced from Xero to Retail POS, and the register has already been closed, this will open the register to account for that payment posting on an On Account sale.

Ecommerce Integrations:

  • If an order has been processed in your online store and your register has already been closed, it will open up the Ecommerce Register you have to record that order in Retail POS.
