Objective

Give the customer part of their money back for a product which they have purchased without affecting current inventory levels.

Setup

• Retail POS for Mac or PC

Steps

1. Click Sales History
2. Search for the Sale to partially refund
3. Click Sale to expand
4. Click Return Items
5.  In Sell Screen click the search bar
6. Search for the same product
7. Add this product to the Sale
8. Click on the new product
9. Click Price 
10. Edit the price so that the amount is the amount the customer wants refunded
11. Click Exchange
12. Select a payment type
13. Click Complete Refund
14. Click Complete Sale
