Integrated payments are payments that Retail POS automatically pushes to the card terminal and receives an approval or decline response back to close the sale.
Retail POS uses Lightspeed Payments but also integrates with a number of third-party payment providers in different regions.

Adding a third-party integrated payment type
- Navigate to Setup > Payment types > Add payment type.
- A dropdown menu will open and display the payment types available in your region. Select the payment type you want to set up.

In the pop-up window, if you don't have an account, click Find out more to learn about using (payment type) with Retail POS. If you do have the required information, click Set up Lightspeed Retail with merchant account details and terminals > Begin setup.
- This will take you to a new page where you can set up your payment type and choose a name that will be displayed on your register.
Other payment types
Retail POS will create cash and other payment method payment types as a default.
If enabled, other payment types will appear as standard buttons on your payment page, including On account, layaway, Loyalty, store credit, and gift cards.
