Lightspeed Wholesale connects your Retail POS (X-Series) account to the NuORDER Marketplace, where you can discover brands, browse digital catalogs, and place wholesale orders. Orders placed in the NuORDER automatically sync back to your Retail POS (X-Series), making it easier to restock, optimize your assortment, and manage supplier relationships more efficiently.

How the NuORDER Marketplace works with Retail POS (X-Series)

The Marketplace is a network of suppliers, so you can:

• Discover and connect with brands;
• Browse catalogs and collections;
• Create and submit purchase orders.

Once an order is placed, it syncs back to your Retail POS, where it can be received and matched against your inventory.

Accessing the NuORDER Marketplace through Retail POS (X-Series)

Before you can access the Marketplace, make sure you’ve connected your Retail POS account to NuORDER.

To open the Wholesale Marketplace from your Retail POS (X-Series):

1. From your Retail POS dashboard, navigate to the Wholesale page.
2. Click Explore the Marketplace. This will open your NuORDER account.
3. In NuORDER, go to the Marketplace page on the left side menu.

That’s it! Now you can start browsing brands or products, connect with brands and place orders.

Finding brands in the NuORDER Marketplace

In your NuORDER account, go to the Marketplace tab from the left-hand menu, then click Find brands to open the brand marketplace. From here, you can discover new brands and explore their profiles. Each brand has its own page (digital catalog), which you can browse or request access to, depending on the brand.

Use the following tools to refine your search:

Search bar

Find brands by name or search for specific product keywords (for example, “organic cotton” or “activewear”).

Filters

Apply filters by clicking Browse products to narrow down results based on your needs, such as:

• Category (for example, apparel, footwear, accessories);
• Market or season (for example, Spring/Summer, ready-to-wear);
• Price point (wholesale price range);
• Sustainability (badges or tags for ethical or sustainable products). 

Once you’ve found a brand, you can explore its product offering. If the brand requires approval, you’ll see a Connection request label. Selecting the brand opens its profile page, where you can review details and request access. If no approval is required, you can start shopping right away.

Shop brand’s products in the NuORDER Marketplace

The Marketplace also offers a multi-brand shopping experience, allowing you to browse and shop products across multiple suppliers in one place.

In your NuORDER account, go to the Marketplace tab from the left-hand menu, then click Shop Products. From here, you can:

• View products from both connected and new brands;
• Compare items across brands;
• Add products from multiple brands to a single cart;
• Review and manage orders in one view.

The Shop products experience is currently in private beta and available only to select customers. The Marketplace currently includes apparel and accessories brands.

Use the search bar to find specific products, or scroll through curated sections such as:

• Bestsellers: Top-selling products across the Marketplace;
• Your trusted brands: Products from brands you’re connected to;
• Suggested for you: AI-powered recommendations based on your order history;
• Brands you may like: Suggested brands based on your activity;
• Recently viewed: Products you recently explored; 
• Shop new brands: Brands you haven’t ordered from before.

If a brand requires approval, you’ll see a Connection request label. Selecting the brand will take you to its profile page, where you can request access. Otherwise, you can start shopping immediately.

As a next step, you add products to your cart to start building an order, then review and submit it when you’re ready.
