Search across Retail POS with global search
The new global search function, located at the top of every page in Retail POS, allows you to quickly search the entirety of Retail POS. You can narrow your search results by clicking Pages, Products, Customers, Orders, or Promotions to locate what you need.

Create a service from the Services page
Services can now be created directly on the Services page without the need to process a sale. Click the Create service button and create a service by adding a customer, item, and note. Once saved, the service will be added to the Services tab.
When you create or edit a service, you can select which employee is assigned to that service. You can also filter for services by user.

Divide product quantities during a sale
You can now unpack a case and sell smaller quantities directly from the Sell screen. A new role permission also allows cashiers to perform this action without needing advanced product editing access.

Set a primary supplier and update supplier order
View and change a product’s primary supplier directly in the Product page. You can click the reorder icon to drag suppliers and reorder them, making it clear which supplier is set as primary.

Filter reorder points by product category on transfers
You can use the new product categories filter when creating a transfer to add products based on their reorder points to make sending transfers more efficient.

Import assistance from the Retail Imports Team
When importing your product catalog, you can now click a link in the banner on the Products page that will direct you to the online form where you can request assistance from the Retail Imports Team.

New Retail API 2.0 endpoints
New endpoints (Change Log, API Reference, and Tutorial) allow merchants using the Retail API to view and partially fulfill orders at the item or quantity level in Retail POS and partially pick, pack, or fulfill quantities of items within a sale.

Manage chargebacks in Retail POS
Lightspeed Payments merchants can now view and manage chargebacks on the Financial services page > Disputes tab in Retail POS. Automated email alerts will be sent when a new dispute is filed or the status of an existing dispute changes.

The Lightspeed Scanner app can now process payments directly on Android devices for streamlined checkout on the sales floor.

Add custom content to your site
A new section in your Instant Site editor now supports adding custom code in HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, allowing you to add unique content anywhere on your site.

Add a contact form to your site
You can now add a contact form section to any webpage of your Instant Site by navigating to your eCom admin > selecting a site page > Add Section > Contact Form. The form includes name, email, phone number, and message fields. Customer submissions are sent to the email address in your eCom admin profile settings.

Retail POS (X) version 6.8.0 has been released for improved register performance:
- Enhancements improve connection between the register and customer-facing display.
- Discount information now displays correctly on both the Sell screen and customer-facing displays.
