If you previously set up case-sensitive gift card codes (for example, ABC123, Abc123, abc123, and all variations), you'll need to select one gift card variation and void the others before using the omni gift card experience.

To cancel the duplicate gift card numbers:

1. Navigate to Reports > Gift card reports.
2. In the banner indicating duplicate gift cards, click Manage duplicates to select the gift card code variation you want to keep.

   

3. In the popup showing duplicate gift card numbers, click the > (arrow) icon beside the gift card number to expand the row and view details about each card, such as transactions. Select the gift card you want to keep.

   

   The others will be canceled and labeled with -Duplicate1, -Duplicate2, and so on.
4. Click Keep this gift card to confirm your selection.
5. Then, a confirmation banner and the next gift card duplicates will display. In the bottom left of the popup, you can view your progress and the total number of duplicates.

   

6. After all the duplicates are resolved, click Download list to get a list of the gift cards that were canceled and renamed.

   

The list of canceled and renamed duplicate gift cards will be available to download from the banner in the Gift card report page until the omni gift card experience has been activated in your account. It's recommended to download the list at this point for your records.
