Objective
Manually apply a refund to a sale through the sales history.
Setup
- Retail POS for PC or Mac
Steps
- Sign in as an admin or manager
- Click sales history
- Search for the sale
- Click on the sale
- Click Apply payment / refund
- Select the payment type
- Type the amount (this should be a negative amount, -10 for example)
- Select a date/time for the payment
- Click Save
Additional Information
When manually applying a refund to a sale, the refund will be contained in the current open register closure.
