Open a register

Setup

• Retail POS for Mac or PC

Steps

1. Click Sell
2. Click Switch under the outlet and register name in the top left
3. Click Switch Register which will open a dialogue box
4. Click the outlet you want
5. Click the register you want to open
6. Enter your float in the Opening Float field 
7. Click Open Register

Additional Information

The number you enter for your opening float should be the physical amount of cash you have in the cash drawer.
