Objective

Change a standard product into a product with variants 

Setup

•  Retail POS for Mac or PC

Steps

1. Navigate to Catalog -> Products
2. Find the product you want to change in the list or by searching
3. Click the pencil icon to the right of the product
4. Scroll down the page until you see the Inventory heading on the left-hand side of the screen
5. Click Add Variants
6. Select your variant attributes name from the left drop-down (Size, Color, etc.)
7. Set your variant attribute values in the right-hand bar (Large, Green, etc.)
8. Click Add First Variant
9. You will then receive a quick notification at the top of the screen confirming the product has been saved.
10. Once you are done adding all your variants, click Save at the top of the screen
