How to make a partial payment when retrieving an on account sale

Objective

Retrieve and partially pay off an on account sale.

Setup

  • Retail POS for Mac or PC 

Steps

  1. Click Sell
  2. Click Sales History
  3. Click All Open Sales
  4. Select On Account
  5. Click Search
  6. Find the sale you want to retrieve
  7. Click the arrow to the right of the sale
  8. Click Pay
  9. Type in the amount of the partial payment
  10. Click the payment type
  11. Confirm the payment by clicking on the amount when it appears on screen
  12. Scroll down to the bottom of the page
  13. Click On Account
