All product descriptions that contain HTML tags and attributes will be filtered when the product description is rendered on the Retail POS product page. We do not change the way the product description is formatted, so these descriptions should still display as desired in other areas such as external integrations like Shopify.

This is performed as a precaution to prevent the risk of malicious code being used within product descriptions, it does not indicate any security issues with the product's description.

Additional Information

If you've copy and pasted text into the description, you may also see this warning. This is because the text is in a rich text format (including style elements like bolded text, specific fonts, line breaks, etc.).

Visually, it may just appear as plain text. However, these elements, tags or attributes still exist behind the scenes and are subject to the same filtering and warning as above.
