Problem

Receipts are printing long, often with a long strip of receipt with a big blank space that wastes paper.

Setup

• Retail POS for Mac or PC

Cause

Enabling Headers and Footers on the print preview will display the date, a header that reads ‘Sell | Retail POS’ at the top and the URL of the Retail POS site at the bottom. This can run quite long, and because of how browsers manage printing, will cause a long stretch of blank paper.

Solution

Disable Headers and Footers

1. In Google Chrome
2. Open Print Preview (Mac: CMD+P, PC: CTRL+P)
3. Click More Settings
4. Disable Headers and Footers
