Retail POS always sends the final retail price to Shopify. This means that the retail price in Retail POS will be visible online in your Shopify store as the actual retail price.

For example, if a product's retail price is $20, but you want to show that it has been discounted to $15, you'll need to update the price in Retail POS to the discounted price, then the compare at price to be the original price.

You can use Shopify's Compare-at price feature to show a discounted price in Shopify.

1. Change the retail price in Retail POS to match the discounted price.
2. Navigate to the product on Shopify.
3. In the pricing section, enter the higher initial price in the compare at price field.
