Leading SKUs on Your Socket Mobile Scanner

When using your Socket Mobile Scanner in Retail POS, the scanner may add a leading 0 to 12-digit SKU. This can occur if the scanner is set to scan EAN 13-digit barcodes, so when it scans a 12-digit SKU it adds a 0 at the front to make it 13 digits long. To learn how to stop this from happening, follow the steps below:

Note

This is only for manufacturer barcodes on products. Printing labels from Retail POS will already be in the correct UPC format.

To ENABLE EAN-13/JAN, scan the barcode below:
