Answer

To sell a composite product on Shopify the products that make up a composite product must have inventory available at an outlet that is linked to your Shopify account.

Additional Information

Aggregated inventory across multiple outlets in Retail POS will not count towards inventory that makes up a composite product. If you're using aggregated inventory, you must still have one outlet that contains all inventory of the products that make up the composite in order for it to appear as available on Shopify.
