Managing third-party app subscriptions in Retail POS (X-Series)

Eligible third-party apps can be connected to and billed through Retail POS. This allows you to pay for your Retail POS subscription and app subscription(s) in one, convenient location. Billing for third party apps is processed as an independent charge. A valid credit card must be on file to complete third-party app payments.

These are managed using the App Subscriptions page (Setup > Billing > App subscriptions) when an eligible app is connected to your Retail POS account.

Eligible third-party apps

Currently, the following third-party apps can be connected to and billed through Retail POS:

*Third-party billing only applies to Lightspeed eCom for retailers on Pro and Enterprise plans. For retailers on Standard and Advanced plans, Lightspeed eCom is included with the plan subscription.

Accessing the App subscriptions billing page

When an eligible app is connected to your Retail POS account, you can review the app(s) billing information including renewal date and monthly charge on the App subscriptions page.


To get to the App subscriptions page, navigate Setup > Billing > App subscriptions.

Cancelling third-party apps billing

To cancel an existing third-party app billing through Retail POS, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Billing > App subscriptions
  2. Identify the third-party app you wish to cancel
  3. Click the trash icon to remove the subscription

If youdon't see Marsello/Lightspeed Advanced Marketing in the App Subscriptions list, please reach out to Support for assistance with cancellation.

Reactivating a cancelled third-party app

To reactivate a third-party app that has previously been cancelled, use the Help function within your Retail POS store to contact our Retail Support team.
