Benefits of the recently out of stock report

You can use this report to:

  • Identify recently out of stock and negative inventory products.
  • Prioritize restocking of high revenue products.
  • Monitor negative inventory across multiple locations.

Understanding the report columns

The report presents information on current out of stock inventory by location alongside revenue to show which products need to be restocked. The columns in this report are:

  • SKU name: The name and SKU of the product.
  • Outlet: The breakdown of inventory per location if you have more than one outlet.
  • Closing inventory: Your inventory at the end of your selected date range. If that is today then it equals your current stock on hand.
  • Items sold: The total items you sold in your selected date range.
  • Last sale: Indicates the calendar date when the item was last sold.
  • Revenue: The revenue generated from the last sale of the product before it went out of stock.
  • Current inventory: Your inventory at the end of your selected date range. If that is today then it equals your current stock on hand.
  • Stock on transfer: The amount of inventory of a product that is in transit between two locations. This number shows the amount that is due to arrive at a location after it is sent from one but before it is received by the recipient location. It does not include incoming stock from purchase orders.
