Signing in to Reporter

Signing in to Reporter on iOS
Once downloaded, admin and manager users can sign in to the Reporter app:
- Navigate through the welcome screen using the Next button.
- Enter your store name and tap Next.
- Enter your username and password and tap Sign in.
Only admin and manager users can sign into the Reporter app. Cashier users will need to be upgraded to admin or manager status to gain access to the Reporter app.

- Navigate through the welcome screen using the Next button to progress.
- Enter your store name and tap Next.
- Enter your username and password and tap Sign in.

Understanding the Home dashboard

Using the Home dashboard on iOS
Once signed in, Reporter gives you full access to the Retail POS Home dashboard, which correlates core retail metrics into charts that display day-to-day data to track sales.
These can be filtered by Today, This week, and This month time periods. Here you can also filter by outlet from the dropdown menu, with the default set to All outlets.
Advanced Metrics are only available to retailers that are on Pro, Advanced, or Enterprise plans.
The default display is made up of My Sales Performance, Gross Profit, and Top Products Sold metrics. More can be added and removed by taping the Show more retail metrics button.
Here you can add displays for Revenue, Sales with customer, Sale count, Average sale value, Average items per sale, Discounted, and Top sales people.
Each of these metrics is calculated from a specific report in Retail POS. You can tap View Report on each metric display to be taken to the full report for more comprehensive data.

To refresh the reporting data, tap the refresh icon on the top left.

Using the Home dashboard on Android
Once signed in, Reporter gives you full access to the Retail POS Home dashboard, which correlates core retail metrics into charts that display day-to-day data to track sales.
These can be filtered by Today, This Week, and This Month time periods by selecting the this X... dropdown menu
You can also filter by outlet, with the default set to All Outlets, by selecting the in X... dropdown menu.
The default display is made up of My sales performance, Gross profit, and Top products sold metrics.
More can be added and removed by taping Show more retail metrics. Here you can select displays for Revenue, Sales with customer, Sale count, Average sale value, Average items per sale, Discounted, and Top sales people.
Once you've made your selection, tap Update dashboard.
Advanced Metrics are only available to retailers that are on Pro, Advanced, or Enterprise plans.

Refresh data
To refresh the reporting data, tap the refresh icon on the top right.
Accessing the Reporting dashboard
The Reporting dashboard gives a convenient overview of your store's most important metrics, including revenue, sale count, gross profit, amount discounted, and total cost. You can filter for single or multiple locations, navigate through different time periods, and quickly access the Sales report page.
To access the Reporting dashboard from iOS or Android, click the Reporting tab.
Click the Day, Week, or Month tab to access data for a specific time period. Click the arrows to either side of the date to navigate to different dates.
Click the Selected outlets dropdown to add or remove outlets. By default, the Reporting dashboard displays data from all locations.
Clicking a graph will take you to the Sales report page automatically populated with a breakdown of the data included in that graph.

Using the Sales history tab, you can view all your sales in chronological order, from newest to oldest. Each sale will show the day and time, the amount, and a status tag for sales that are on account, layby, or unfulfilled.
Clicking on a sale will open the details, where you can view day and time, receipt number, customer, user, status, sale details, and payment information.
You can filter sales by tapping the filter button at the top right of the page. Configure your search criteria for status, outlet, user, customer, or by receipt number and tap Search.
You cannot void, edit, process a return, or export sales data through the Reporter app.

Using the Activity tab, you can review account login activity by Retail POS users.
This allows you to monitor which users are signing in to your Retail POS account, when they are signing in and the details of the login, including IP address and device information.
Listed in chronological order from newest to oldest, each login activity is recorded by date and time, with the username and display name.
Tapping a specific login activity will display additional information including IP address, Device, Operating system and Browser.

Adding Reporter widgets

Adding Reporter widgets on iOS
The Reporter widget can be configured to display Revenue, Margin, Gross profit, Total tax, Discount, or Sale count metrics. You can include all 6 widgets on your Home Screen.
The default Revenue metric widget is available on all plans. Additional metric widgets are only available to retailers on Pro, Advanced or Enterprise plans.
To add a widget:
- From the device home screen, touch and hold a widget or an empty area until the apps jiggle.
- Tap the Add (+) button in the upper-left corner.
- Select the Reporter widget.
- To change the metric, scroll through the carousel.
- Tap Add Widget.
- Tap Done.

Adding Reporter widgets on Android
The reporter widgets can be configured to display Revenue, Gross profit, Total cost, Total tax, Total discount, and Sale count metrics, each with time ranges configurable to Today, This week, or This month.
The default Revenue metric widget is available on all plans. Additional metric widgets are only available to retailers on Pro, Advanced and Enterprise plans.
- On the device home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
- Tap Widgets.
- Locate and tap Reporter, tap the widget and tap Add.
- Select the Metric type and Time interval from the dropdown menus.
- Tap Save.
Once the widget is added to your home screen, tap and hold the widget to move and resize the widget as desired. You can also access settings to change the Metric type and Time interval.

Adding extra Retail POS functionalities

iOS
Additional Retail POS functionality, such as Reporting, Catalog, Inventory, Customers, and Setup, can be accessed via the Menu navigation for monitoring and review purposes.
The Sell screen is not accessible and sales cannot be processed using Reporter.

Android
Additional Retail POS functionality, such as Reporting, Catalog, Inventory, Customers, and Setup, can be accessed via the Menu navigation for monitoring and review purposes.
Sales cannot be processed using Reporter and the Sell screen is not accessible via the Menu.
