When you need to print or email an invoice, quote, or designated On account or layby receipt, you can choose the appropriate receipt template at the end of the sale.
Selecting and printing a receipt template
- At the end of the sale, click Print receipt.
- Select a receipt template to use.
- Click Print.
When a template with a different format (like A4) is selected, you will need to change the printer destination in the print preview.
If receipts are printed regularly you can enable automatic printing in Settings > Hardware > Add printer (or existing printer) in the Retail POS (X) app, which will trigger a receipt to be printed without needing to tap the Print button at the end of each sale.
Select and emailing a receipt template
- Attach the customer to the sale and continue with the sales flow.
- Click the receipt template name.
- Select a receipt template to use.
- Ensure Email a receipt is toggled on, then Complete Sale.
