To help you direct traffic to your WooCommerce store, WooCommerce has a free extension you can download that will link your Facebook business page to your WooCommerce store. To learn how to connect your Facebook page to your WooCommerce store, follow the steps below:
1. On the Wordpress main menu, select WooCommerce > Extensions.
3. Click on the Facebook for WooCommerce extension.
4. You will be redirected to a WooCommerce page. Select Free download.
5. Select Proceed to checkout.
6. Enter your credentials and click Purchase. You will not be charged for the plugin.
7. You will be given a link to download a zip file. Select Download.
8. Back on your WordPress dashboard, head to Plugins and select Add new.
9. Select Upload plugin.
10. Choose file > Select the "facebook-for-woocommerce.zip" file.
11. Click Install now.
Set up your Facebook page and shop
If you'd like to create a Facebook shop or product catalog, follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to Woocommerce > Settings > Integration. Select Activate to activate the plugin and then select Get started. You will be redirected to Facebook.
2. Select the Facebook page you would like to link to your WooCommerce store. In most cases, you should select your Facebook business page. If you do not have a Facebook business page, you will have to option to Create a new page. Once you have selected your page, click Next.
3. Select Install the Facebook pixel. This will track actions between your WooCommerce store and Facebook.
4. Import your products to Facebook from WooCommerce. In most cases, we recommend that you only import your top-selling products.
5. Back on WooCommerce, there will be a new All products on WooCommerce column on your product list. This will state which products have been synced to Facebook.
6. To publish a product on Facebook from WooCommerce, click to edit a product and click Update. This will publish the product to Facebook, and you will be notified that the product was created.
Making sales with Facebook
Your products will be displayed on your Facebook business page. When your customers click on a product they will be redirected to your WooCommerce store, where they can add products to their cart and place an order.
