How to request a Retail POS (X-Series) store domain name (URL address) change

Objective

Changing the domain name (store URL address) for your Retail POS store.

Setup

  • Retail POS for Mac or PC
  • Retail POS on iPad

Steps

Changing your Retail POS store domain name (URL address) can only be actioned by Retail Support.

The Account Owner must contact Retail Support with the following information:

  1. Suitable date and time for the domain change to take place (the domain change is best done outside of trading hours in order to prevent any disruption to trading).
  2. The URL/domain name that you want to change to.
    •  5 characters minimum

Once the domain name has been changed, you may be required to log in to your store again and repair any hardware devices that were previously connected.
