Processing a partial refund originating from Shopify

Processing a partial refund from Shopify requires that you have installed and set up the Shopify integration.

To do this:

  1. In Retail POS, click Sell to navigate to the sales page.
  2. Click Sales history.
  3. Search for the sale, using the filters if necessary. When located, click on the sale to expand its view.
  4. Click Return items.

  5. Remove any products that don't need to be refunded by clicking the trash can icon next to them.

  6. Click Refund.

  7. Select your Shopify payment type (likely Other payment method).

    • You can find this by navigating to Setup > Apps and clicking the pencil (edit) icon next to Shopify.

The refund will be complete. You'll have the option to print a receipt or email a record of the refund to the customer.
