Setup

Cause

1. One or more outlets are not set to a specific tax rate

2. Browser cache & cookies

Solution

One or more outlets are not set to a specific tax rate

Part 1

1. Click Setup
2. Click Edit Outlet for each available outlet 
3. Look for the outlet(s) whose default sales tax is set to Select sales tax 

   

4. Select the appropriate tax from the drop-down list 
5. Click Save
6. Refresh the add or edit product pages  

If your add product and edit product pages are still not loading after performing the above steps proceed to Part 2 below. 

Part 2

1. Go to Setup
2. Go to Sales Taxes
3. Select a tax rate and click Edit
4. Click Edit Sales Tax
5. Repeat for all available tax rates 
6. Confirm that the add and edit product pages now load 

Browser cache & cookies

1. Type chrome://settings/siteData in the search bar
2. Search for 'vendhq' in the top right hand side
3. Click the trash icon to remove the saved data from your computer
4. Refresh Retail POS and the Add Product and Edit Product pages should load

Additional Information

• For the second part in solution 1, you will not be able to edit the No Tax rate
