Objective
Change the Customer or Sale Note on an On Account sale that has posted to Xero.
Setup
- Retail POS for Mac or PC
Steps
Change customer
- Navigate to Sell -> Sales History
- Filter by customer, receipt number, or sale note to locate the sale
- Click on the sale to expand
- Click Edit
- Click on the delete Icon to remove the current customer from the sale
- Add the new customer
- Click Save Changes
Add or edit Sale Note
- Navigate to Sell -> Sales History
- Filter by customer, receipt number, or sale note to locate the sale
- Click on the sale to expand
- Click Edit
- Add or edit the Sale Note
- Click Save Changes
Additional Information
If the on account sale is already synced to Xero , the information needs to be edited manually on Xero to match the updated information in Retail POS.
