Can I use a barcode that is already on my product?

Setup

  • Retail POS for Mac or PC
  • Retail POS on iPad 

Answer

Yes - you can use an existing barcode for a product in Retail POS. The SKU in Retail POS will need to be the same as the numbers on the barcode.  

Additional Information 

The SKU will still need to be unique in Retail POS; you cannot have more than one product in Retail POS with the exact same SKU.
