How to grant Retail POS (X-Series) support QuickBooks Online access


Grant Retail POS support QuickBooks Online access for troubleshooting.  


  • Retail POS for Mac or PC
  • QuickBooks Online


  1. In QuickBooks Online, click the Gear icon 
  2. Under your company name, click Manage Users 
  3. Click Add User
  4. Select Standard User 
  5. Click Next 
  6. Select the items that Retail POS support will need to access to troubleshoot your issue
  7. Click Next 
  8. Enter Retail POS in the First name field, Support in the last name field and help@lightspeedhq.com in the Email field. 
  9. Click Save 

Additional Information

Delete this user once your issue has been resolved.
