Why isn't my inventory in Retail POS (X-Series) updating when I complete a count on the Scanner (X-Series) app?

Setup

  • Retail POS for Mac or PC
  • Scanner App

Answer

If you are not logged into your Retail POS store while completing a count on the Scanner app, your count will not be able to upload to your store. 

Additional Information

If you have completed a count without being logged into the Scanner app, you can export your count from the Scanner app and use this file to update your inventory.
