Problem

Products are failing to publish successfully to BigCommerce due to a duplicate product name error even if the SKU is unique. 

Setup

• Retail POS for Mac or PC
• BigCommerce integration 

Cause

Two products in BigCommerce have identical names, even though the SKUs might be unique. We are unable to publish products to BigCommerce with identical product names.

Solution

If the products are different:

Update the product name so that the product names are unique and two products will get created in BigCommerce.

If the products are the same:

Update the SKU on one of the products so that they can be mapped to each other across Retail POS and BigCommerce.
