When changing the retail price of an existing product on the edit products page, will the retail price set within a price book for that product automatically update?

Answer

No, edits to a product's retail price will not automatically apply to price books. Retail prices must be edited manually within the price book(s). Refer to Updating a price book for more information.

Changing a product's tax on the Edit product page will automatically update the tax on the relevant price book(s). This will cause the product's Retail price (including tax) within the price book(s) to increase or decrease. The Retail price (excluding tax) is unaffected.
