Answer

There are two scenarios on how BigCommerce customers sync to Retail POS:

1. When an order is placed on BigCommerce for an existing Retail POS customer, the order will sync to Retail POS based on the e-mail address included in the order
2. For new Retail POS customers, the BigCommerce customer will be created in Retail POS based on their billing details included in the order

Additional Information

• Retail POS will not update customer details changed on BigCommerce. Any updates after the fact will not send over to Retail POS
