Answer

There are three known ways to open your cash drawer. Please note they may not work for all cash drawers.

1. By completing a sale
   If your cash drawer settings are set to open the cash drawer before/after the printing of a receipt
   
   
2. By using a shortcut
   Cmd + E (Mac) or Ctrl + E (Windows) while on the Sell Screen. Please note a small docket may print stating 'cash drawer open' or something similar
   
   
3. By unlocking the drawer
   Most drawers come with a manual lock and key which you can use instead of printing a receipt etc
