Will the cash drawer open after credit card sales?

Setup

  • Retail POS for Mac or PC
  • Retail POS on iPad
  • Receipt Printer
  • Cash drawer

Answer

On iPad, the cash drawer will only open for cash sales. On Mac or PC, it will open every time a receipt is printed.

Additional Information

If your credit card option is set up as a cash payment type, the cash drawer will open when credit card is selected.
