Objective

To create a charity donations product, add them to a sale and collect charity donations.

Setup

• Retail POS for Mac or PC
• Retail POS on iPad

Steps

Create a Charity Donation product:

1. Navigate to Catalog -> Products
2. Click Add Product
3. Enter the Product Name as Charity Donation
4. Select Standard Product
5. Leave the Supply Price and Retail Price blank
6. Click Add Product
7. On the Edit Product page, set Tax to No Tax
8. Uncheck Track Inventory for this product
9. Click Save

Add the product to a sale:

1. Add the Charity Donation product to the sell screen using the Search for products bar
2. Click the product to expand
3. Change the price to the desired denomination
4. Complete the sale as normal
