Setup

• Retail POS on iPad
• Tyro payment terminal

Steps

Adding Tyro Payment Type

1. Tap the menu icon in the top left corner
2. Tap Dashboard
3. Tap Menu
4. Tap Setup 
5. Tap Payment Types
6. Tap Add Payment Type 
7. Select Tyro
8. Tap Begin Setup
9. Enter a desired payment name i.e. Credit Card or Eftpos
10. Tap Save Payment Type

Pairing your Tyro terminal with Retail POS

1. Tap the menu icon in the top left corner
2. Tap Settings
3. Tap Hardware
4. Under Tyro, click Pair Terminal
5. Tap on your terminal model
6. On the payment terminal
   • Press the Menu button
   • Input your admin PIN (provided by Tyro)
   • Navigate to Configuration
   • Select Integrated EFTPOS
   • Select Authorise POS or Pair with POS. A Merchant ID (MID) and Terminal ID (TID) will appear on the screen.
7. On Retail POS, input the Merchant ID (MID) and Terminal ID (TID). Click Authorise.
8. Wait a few seconds, then press start on the terminal.
9. Tap OK on the popup message in Retail POS.
