How do I import all my suppliers from Xero to Retail POS (X-Series)?

Objective

To import all Xero suppliers into Retail POS.

Setup 

  • Retail POS for Mac or PC
  • Xero Integration

Answer

1. Click on the Product tab in the side menu and navigate to the Suppliers page.

2. Once here, click the Import from Xero button to the top right of the screen.

Any contacts in Xero who are set as suppliers will now be imported to Retail POS. This may take some time if you have a lot of suppliers in Xero.

Additional Information

  • When importing suppliers, they do not automatically link with existing contacts. If you have the same suppliers in both Xero and Retail POS, importing your suppliers from Xero will create duplicates

  • Any updates you make to your supplier details in Retail POS will not update in Xero, meaning these changes will also need to be made in Xero.
