Activating Blockchyp

1. In the Blockchyp portal, select Merchant Tools under the Navigation menu
2. Select Retail POS Integration in the new drop-down menu
3. Select Connect To Retail POS
4. You'll be redirected to Retail POS, log into your account
5. Select Connect when asked to connect Blockchyp to Retail POS

Pairing the terminal

1. Plug in the terminal and connect it to the internet
2. Once the terminal interface loads, tap the screen to display the Activation Code
3. In the Blockchyp portal, select Activate Terminal located in the Merchant Tools section
4. Enter the activation code from the terminal into the field on the portal
5. Select the Retail POS register that the terminal will be paired with

Using the integration

1. Login to Retail POS
2. Select Setup
3. Select Payment Types
4. Select Add Payment Type
5. From the drop down menu, select Other Payment Method
6. Select Begin Setup
7. Rename the payment type appropriately
8. Select which outlet(s) this payment type can be used in
9. In the Gateway field, insert 'https://api.blockchyp.com/vend-all'
10. Save the payment type and test the solution

Additional Information

When using the solution, please make sure that you are logged into the right register on Retail POS.

This payment type will enable functionality for regular card transactions, EBTs, and Blockchyp's Gift Card program.
