Pairing your payment terminal

Once your payment type has been created, it’s time to pair your Pax A920 Pro, A920, or A80 payment terminal.

Preparing your payment terminal

  1. Connect the terminal to a power supply and turn the terminal on.
  2. Connect the terminal to your network using an Ethernet cable or WiFi.
  3. On the terminal’s Idle screen, open the Payroc app.
If the app is not on the Pax terminal, download the Payroc app from the Pax Store.

The Payroc app must always be open to process integrated payments. It can run in the background, or you can leave it as the main app screen on the terminal.

  4. If the terminal is connected to a network, it should state "Connected" at the bottom of the screen.

Connecting the terminal to Retail POS

  1. Select the payment type to edit and pair the terminal. Multiple payment terminals can be paired under a single payment type.
