Objective

Swap the SKUs of two products which each have the SKU of the other product without receiving any errors.

Setup

• Retail POS for Mac or PC

Steps

1. Navigate to Catalog -> Products
2. Find the first product you need to change in the list (using filters if necessary)
3. On the right of the product, click on the pencil icon
4. Scroll down until you see the SKU field
5. In the SKU field, enter a random number which is not currently in use (such as 123456789)
6. Click Save
7. Find the second product you need to change in the list
8. On the right of the product, click on the pencil icon
9. Scroll down until you see the SKU field
10. In the SKU field enter the correct SKU of the product
11. Click Save
12. Find the first product you need to change in the list
13. On the right of the product, click on the pencil icon
14. Scroll down until you see the SKU field
15. In the SKU field enter the correct SKU of the product
16. Click Save
