You’re almost done setting up your Retail POS account. Before you jump in and get selling, make sure that you’ve completed the following steps (where applicable):
Updating settings
- Fill in all your store information at Setup > General
- Add or edit your outlets and registers at Setup > Outlets and Registers
- Create or adjust user roles and permissions at Setup > Users
- Add or edit receipts at Setup > Outlets and Registers > Receipt Templates
- Add or edit tax rates via Setup > Sales Tax
Creating your catalog, inventory, and customers
- Create your product catalog at Catalog > Products
- Add inventory to your products at Inventory > Stock Control
- Create your customer database at Customers > Customers
Setting up your hardware
- Set up your Lightspeed Payments terminal(s)
- Setup and connect your hardware
- Download and configure the Lightspeed Retail POS (X) app for iPad
Preparing to sell
- Explore selling on the sell screen
- Customize your quick keys to make selling faster
- Learn how to open and close registers
Training on Retail POS
- Learn how to navigate Retail POS
