Lightspeed NuORDER is a place where brands can deliver a seamless, more collaborative wholesale process, and buyers can browse products, plan assortments, and make smarter buys in real-time.

Understanding Lightspeed NuORDER

Brands

Lightspeed NuORDER has over 4000 brands that want to connect and empower retail merchants to purchase the items that they sell. Brand admins curate a portfolio of items that retail merchants can purchase from the product gallery in Lightspeed NuORDER, export to Retail POS, and sell in their stores.

Buyers

Buyers are Retail POS merchants. Lightspeed NuORDER empowers thousands of merchants to connect with the brands they buy from and consolidate their purchasing flows into one platform.

Those who use Retail POS also have access to exclusive features, including exporting purchase orders from Lightspeed NuORDER directly to Retail POS.

The exclusive NuORDER PO Sync features allow you to connect with all your brands and create purchase orders using the product marketplace that are sent directly to your brands for dispatch. These can then be exported to Retail POS to ensure up-to-date item information and accurate inventory levels for the items you are selling.

Linking your NuORDER and Retail POS accounts

To connect your NuORDER account to Retail POS:

1. Sign in to Retail POS.
2. Navigate to Setup > Apps.
3. In the Engage with brands section, click Connect for NuORDER.

   

4. If you have a NuORDER account, click Connect account. If you don't already have a NuORDER account, click Sign up for a free account to initiate the account signup process. The NuORDER signup process can take between 24 to 72 hours.

   

5. Enter your NuORDER login details, then click Log in.

   

6. Click Allow to allow Retail POS (X-Series) to access your NuORDER account.
7. Review the Lightspeed Integration Terms and Conditions. Once you have reviewed the information, select the I have read and agree… checkbox, then click Connect NuORDER.

   

   Clicking Cancel on the Terms and Conditions only cancels the connection process between the accounts. You'll still be able to use your NuORDER account separately from Retail POS. You can restart the process of connecting your NuORDER account and confirming the Terms and Conditions in Retail POS when ready.

Your NuORDER and Retail POS accounts are now successfully connected. Click Go to NuORDER to browse brands in your NuORDER account, or View recommendations to start importing NuORDER purchase orders into Retail POS.

Managing buyer access

Once you have linked your NuORDER and Retail POS accounts, you can invite and link multiple buyers to the same account. This allows multiple people to create NuORDER purchase orders for your business and view and import all orders into Retail POS. Buyers added to Retail POS must already have an active NuORDER account.

To invite a buyer:

1. In Retail POS, navigate to Setup > Apps.
2. Under My apps, click the pencil icon beside NuORDER.

   

3. Click Invite buyer.

   

4. Enter the email address of an existing NuORDER account and click Send invitation.
5. Once the buyer confirms their account via the email invitation, they will be able to purchase through NuORDER and all their purchase orders will be viewable in Retail POS.

Only the admin user can disconnect the connection. If the connection is disconnected, all buyers will be removed from the integration. Currently, there is no way to remove a single buyer from a connected account.
